Hello and welcome back, everyone! Today, I have a summer themed card using our Ocean Free Stamp Set.

I created another panel using this set last week but I kept that card simple by only using the oceanscape and cloud stamps. You can watch that video here.

For today’s card, I added the palm tree and did some additional masking to create a livelier scene.

For my project today, I white heat embossed the entire scene starting with the palm tree. Once the palm tree was embossed, I masked it and embossed the ocean scene and clouds. Then I proceeded to watercolor the panel.

• For the tree, I used the following color burst powders: Sap Green Color Burst, Burnt Umber Color Burst and Terre Vert Color Burst;
• for the sky, I used Cerulean Blue Color Burst and Indigo Color Burst;
• for the ocean, I used Turquoise Color Burst;
• For the sand, I used Yellow Ochre Color Burst, Sepia Color Burst and Fine Tec Gold Watercolors.

Once everything was painted, I stamped the sentiment (from our City Girls: Summer Sunshine set) in our Dark Roast Dye Ink.
