Good morning everyone!! I hope you had a great weekend!!
Today, I am sharing a birthday card with a coordinating tag!! I used different stamp sets on each, but I feel like they really complement each other!!
I started with the card and stamped several of the images from the Happy Florals stamp set using the following colors collections: Orchid, Amethyst, Citrine and Crystal Garden. Once they were dry, I fussy cut them all out. I played around with the arrangement until I found something that I liked and glued them all together. I die-cut the black background panel with the largest of the Double Stitched Rectangle Dies (Sm) and splattered diluted gouache onto it with a brush. Once that was dry, I adhered the floral arrangement to the panel with foam adhesive. The greeting, also from Happy Florals, was stamped with Noir Ink onto a white cardstock strip. I placed some silver glitter tape onto a piece of scrap cardstock and trimmed it down to frame my sentiment strip. I added some shimmer with a Clear Wink of Stella pen and a sprinkling of Glass Slippers Sequin Mix.
The tag was created pretty much the same way, except I used the Fab Day Peony stamp set and only the two lightest colors of ink from each collection. The tag was cut using the Holiday Chic Tag Dies. I bit of black & white twine was tied at the top of the tag.
That’s it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by and spending a bit of your day with me!!
So super sweet!!
