Hi everyone. Vera here today to start your week with some fresh inspiration from The Ton.
Yesterday, Effie released some new digital cut files and I just had to play with them right away. I used my Brother Scan ‘N Cut to do the cards below.
Let’s start with our layerable Floral Bud coverplate file. This cut file has two cutting coverplate images that you can layer together. But, for my card I just used one layer.
I started by cutting the Floral Bud cover. Then using it as loose guidance, I dropped some alcohol pearl inks on Yupo paper and spread it over. Once I am happy with the color, I simply laid over a silver foil, rub on it and lifted it up. The foil sticks to the area that still semi wet, creating interesting pattern.
Next, simply add foam adhesives on the back of the floral bud frame and adhere it to the yupo paper. Then adhere the layered piece to the card base. For the sentiment, I used my favorite sentiment from Wishful Wildflowers set.
For my second card, I used Basic Roses SVG file.
I simply cut out the floral elements from a piece of white cardstock and before lifting it up from the mat, I colored the pieces with various distress oxide ink pad. I love this tyle as I feel it ha a modern feeling and perfect for clean & simple card.
To finish, I simply stamped the sentiment from Loose Peonies set with Caviar ink pad. I love that I can make these cards quickly thanks to the digital cut files. You could use these files with Cricut and Silhouette as well. Fun, right?
Well peeps, I hope you enjoy today’s cards as much as I enjoy making it. That’s all from me today. May your week starts off wonderfully. Cheers….
Vera
