Hello everyone! Hope your week is off to a great start! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a card showcasing Fantastic Feathers set from Spring 2019 Release. Fantastic Feathers  is a large stamp set with a size of 8.75 x 12 inches. With this set you can create a beautiful layered peacock in your favorite color combination.

I wanted to represent a majestic white peacock in my card today.

I started off by white heat embossing the base layer of the tail and body of the peacock on a Canson watercolor paper panel. I then colored the background in purple and teal using Turquoise and Orchid Color Burst.

The outer layer of the eye of the feathers and the second layer of the body were heat embossed in Rose Gold. I then stamped the second layer of the eye of the feathers and the root of the tail in Iris Blooms to match with the background color. The center of the eye of the feathers was heat embossed in Copper. I stamped the legs in Aspen Cocoa and Dark Roast.

After the peacock was finished I cut the whole panel using a Double Stitched Rectangle die and then a circle frame from the panel using Double Stitched Circle dies to add my sentiment. I stamped “magnificent” in Noir on a separate piece of white cardstock. I placed the stamp in a certain curve to fit it on the circle frame. I adhered Glossy Fine Transparent adhesive glitter paper on it to add some sparkle and fussy cut the sentiment. The small sentiments were stamped in black on the circle frame.

I mounted the panel on a white cardbase. The circle frame was foam mounted and the gilttery “magnificent” was added on it using some foam adhesives. I added Crystal Stickles on the center of the eye of the feathers and scattered some Smoked Amethyst and Smoked Emerald sparkling clear sequins to finish off my card.
