Happy Hump Day!! Spring has sprung!! It is wonderful to see the sun shining and hear the birds chirping!!

I long for the time when I can plant some flowers in my yard. In the Midwest, they say you aren’t safe from frost until after Mother’s Day. So, I guess I’ll have to continue to plant flowers in my craft room until then…HA!

For today’s card, I chose to use the stunning new Pink Peonies Washi Tape. I love that I can fake the look of a watercolored panel using Effie’s beautiful original watercolor paintings!

I began by applying the Pink Peonies Washi to two white cardstock panels. I fussy cut the florals from one of the panels and cut a heart from the center of the other one using the Heart Jigsaw Die. I die-cut the heart again from some glitter rose gold paper and only used the thin outline. I adhered the washi covered cardstock and the thin outline to a panel of pink cardstock. The fussy cut flowers were adhered around the heart image. The sentiment was die-cut from glitter rose gold paper using the Love & Hugs Word Plate Dies and adhered as shown. A few sequins from the Pink Diamond and Summer Soiree Couture Mixes were the perfect finishing touch!
