Good morning everyone!! Spring is in the air today with this bright, floral birthday card!!

I started by stamping the Coming Up Peonies onto white cardstock with Caviar Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I added some additional shading and details with colored pencils and a white gel pen, then fussy cut the image. For the background, I stamped the Modern Plaid Cling Background Stamp onto light blue cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. The frame was cut from white cardstock using the two largest of the Double Stitched Rectangle Dies (Lg). The sentiment, from Gifted, was white heat embossed onto a black cardstock strip. The frame, peonies and sentiment strip were all popped up with foam adhesive. Lastly, a few sequins from the Belle’s Dress Couture Mix add a little sparkle.
