Hello and welcome back to The Season, everyone! We have a special product release today – WASHI TAPE! It’s a small release but it’s near and dear to my heart because these tapes are custom designs based on my very own floral watercoloring. If you check out my personal crafty Instagram profile (@craftyeffie), you can see the the paintings that these products were inspired from. Both rolls are available to ship immediately!
Our Pink Peonies washi tape is the larger of the two rolls being released today. The design of this roll consists of soft pink peony clusters with gray and rose gold foil leaves. This roll measures approximately 4.5 inches x 10 meters. You can use this tape as a beautiful background or fussy cut the elements to create your own custom arrangement.
Our Wildflowers Washi tape is smaller and consists of brighter colors. This roll has rose gold leaf accents that are perfect for fussy cutting to add to your floral clusters. This roll measures approximately 3.5 inches x 10 meters.

Both of my projects for today are very similar in technique! I applied my washi tape onto cardstock and fussy cut the different floral clusters to make my own custom arrangements.
I even used the edge pieces for my project. For these cutoff images, I tucked them behind my clusters to create an even fuller floral arrangement. Waste not, want not!
For my first card, I used our Pink Peonies washi tape. I started by blending some of our Rose Quartz dye ink onto white cardstock. Then I used the largest die in our Double Stitched Rectangles (Large) die collection to add stitching to the edges of my A2 panel. Next, I splattered white and metallic gold acrylic paint onto my blended panel. Lastly, I arranged my floral clusters and foliage and added some Clear Rhinestones.
For my second card, I stamped our Bare Tones background stamp onto white cardstock to create a subtle background patterned panel. Then I popped up my Wildflowers clusters. For my sentiment, I used our Love and Hugs word die cuts cut from white cardstock. Lastly, I embellished my card with some Glass Slippers sequins.
Announcement + Promotion
Going forward, we will no longer release coordinating dies with our designs. We will also be discontinuing all of our existing coordinating dies and some of our standalone dies (Petal Cut Peonies, Modern Labels, Best Day Coverplate, Lattice Coverplate). So once these products are out of stock, we have no plans of bringing them back in the future. There may be an instance where we find one or two extra sets after we’ve fullfilled all of our orders. In this situation we will temporarily restock that die to clear the rest of our inventory.
This was a very difficult decision to make but once it was done, I felt more positive about The Ton’s future. For us, this is the best solution to adapt to this evolving craft industry.
So since I would like to clear out our coordinating die inventory as quickly as possible, I’m extending our 30% promo once again until this Friday, March 8 at 11:30pm EST. *Restrictions apply* Please note that once these coordinating dies are gone, they are gone.
SHIPPING UPDATE: We have received a large influx of orders due to this promotion. It is a team of two (my mother and I) that is packing and shipping everything. It is taking a little longer for us to fulfill these orders but we are hoping to ship everything out by the end of this week.
