Hi peeps! How’ it going? Vera here today.
I have to say that I really can’t complain about Houston winter. Our winter is very mild compare to so many other part of the country. I appreciate the cold moment we have since it’s rare.
And, the good thing about winter, that means more time inside the house = more crafting time. Hah!
For today, I play with the beautiful Today’s Cosmos stamp & dies set.
This is how my mind been working overtime lately. I started the card with the intention of doing watercolor. I stamped & heat embossed the flowers on a piece of watercolor cardstock and then proceed to color them with Copic markers.
Yep, I completely forgot my original plan. As soon as I finished coloring, I was like why this cardstock felt different? Then it dawned on me, duh…. I supposed to watercolor these. Oh well, I am not one to waste material, especially when I already colored it. Part of getting old or just brain working over time? 😉
Before I adhere the flowers, I stamped the white cardstock panel with Peony Close Up Cling background stamp. Subtle but enough to add a bit of interest to the card.
I adhere the flowers with foam adhesive and curl the edge of the flowers for added interest. Also for the center of the yellow flowers I dotted some Nuvo liquid enamel. Finished by stamping the sentiment.
Well peeps, that’s all from me today. Hope you enjoy today’s card. I have quite a few ideas swirling in my head right now & this weekend I am planning a crafting get together with some friends, so hoping that my mojo cooperate & stay active as I am hoping to get quite a few cards done. See you again next Tuesday. Cheers…
