Good morning everyone!! Brenda here with you today!! I have two cards to share…both use the stunning cosmos stamps from the newest release.

The first uses the beautiful Smiling Cosmos set…

I began by stamping the Smiling Cosmos with Caviar Ink in the bottom left corner of a white cardstock panel. I colored the image with Copics and a yellow gel pen and then trimmed about 1/4″ off of one side. I white heat embossed the Diagonal Stripes Cling Background stamp onto black cardstock and trimmed a strip for the left side. The sentiment was cut from pink and black cardstock using the Love and Hugs Word Plate Dies and then layered together. I also cut them from some black fun foam for added dimension. A few sequins from the Belle’s Dress and Pink Diamond Couture Mixes finished off the card.

My second card uses the Today’s Cosmos stamp set…

I began by stamping all of the images from the Today’s Cosmos set with Caviar Ink onto white cardstock. After coloring them with Copic markers and adding a few details with a white gel pen, they were cut out using the Coordinating Dies. I chose a blue cardstock that matched the blue in one of my flowers for the background and splattered it with diluted white paint. The Love and Hugs Word Plate Dies were used to cut “hugs” from purple and black cardstock. The “sending” portion of the sentiment is from Hug in a Mug…it was stamped with Caviar Ink onto a strip of purple cardstock. I arranged all the flowers the way I wanted them and adhered them together, then added foam adhesive to the back and added them to the blue cardstock panel. All of the excess parts of the flowers that hung off the edges were trimmed away. I added a few sequins from the Waltz White Couture Mix for the finishing touch.
