Hi, everyone! I’m Laura Sterckx from Making Cards Is Fun and I’m honored to be guest designing for The Ton. I’ll be using the Peony Close Up Cling Stamp to create a beautiful rainbow card.

First I stamped and heat embossed the peony on Canson Watercolor Paper. You could also use regular card stock, but since I originally wanted to do some watercoloring, I decided to use watercolor paper.
Then, I created a rainbow background with Distress Oxide Inks. This was super easy and fast to do since these inks blend beautifully and effortlessly. To finish off this card, I die cut the hello greeting from the Bold General Greeting Word Plate Dies from The Ton. I added dimension to these letters with Fun Foam.
That’s it! Which card is your favorite? Do you prefer the black or the white version? Let me know in the comments below. 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by!
Two great cards Laura! Love the colors you used!

Both cards have lovely blending of luscious colours. I like the black one as I feel it has more “pop”.

These are both so beautiful Laura. I think of the two, my fave is the white one, probably because of the glitter on the Hello…haha
