Birthday card with watercolored peonies

Hello, everyone! Anna here with a floral card featuring the Coming Up Peonies stamp set.

I started by stamping the image from Coming Up Peonies onto a watercolor paper and heat embossed it using Rose Gold embossing powder. I colored the beautiful bouquet with my Holbein Watercolors and fussy cut it.

To create the background, I ink blended Rose Quartz Dye and Vanilla Frosted Cupcake onto a piece of white cardstock, stamped Modern Plaid Cling Background and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I adhered the vellum panel to the background and foam mounted it on the cardbase.

Then, I adhered the bouquet of peonies on the vellum panel. The ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment was stamped on a strip of a kraft cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed in white.

Next, I added a few sequins from Pink Diamond Couture Mix to finish it up.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a great Friday!

Anna

This is beautiful!! I love the soft colors and the Modern Plaid background is gorgeous (I have got to get that cling stamp lol). Thanks for sharing your beautiful card and for the inspiration.
