Hello and welcome back! Today, I have two cards using our Grand Bows and Diagonal Stripes background stamp.
Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube Channel for more inspiration! I update our channel on a weekly basis!
I started off by creating my background panels first. I stamped our Diagonal Stripes onto a white A2 panel with our Valentine Red Dye Ink. Then I white heat embossed the stamp onto an red A2 panel.
For my first card, I stamped our Grand Bows in Valentine Red and Aspen Cocoa dye inks. Here is a video layering tutorial where I describe the process in more detail. Then I created silver “ribbons” using our metallic Silver Foil Tape. Please note that our foil adhesive products do not contain any metal elements. Next I die cut my red panel using the largest die from our Double Stitched Rectangles Small die collection. I adhered the center panel onto a side folding cardbase. Then I popped up my silver foil strips onto my base with foam tape.
Next I created my tag for my sentiment using our Holiday Chic Tags stamp set and coordinating fishtail tag die. The tag was first stamped with the speckled stamp in our Crystal Pewter Dye Ink. Then I die cut the tag using the fishtail tag die which also leaves pierced edges and gives the tag a beautiful finished look. Then I stamped the sentiment. Once my tag was created, I popped it up onto my card first. Then I popped up my die cut Grand Bow. Lastly, I popped up that thin border that I die cut earlier from our red embossed panel.
My next card was created in a similar fashion. I just used a different color palette for this one. Instead of silver foil tape, I used our Red Foil Adhesive paper for the “ribbons”. For my bow I used a combination of our Crystal Pewter and Smoky Quartz dye inks. I also added a Pop Up Poinsettia inside this second card.
Thanks for stopping by!!
I love the grand bows stamp set. It is so realistic and beautiful!
