Hello and welcome back, everyone! Today, we’re releasing seven new background stamps with a focus on basic patterns. When I designed this release, I wanted to create some beautiful, subtle patterns that we could use along with some of our other designs. For example, there were times where I colored and die cut some of our floral designs and then couldn’t figure out what sort of background I would prop them up against. So I created some basic patterns that take the guesswork out!
Here are our seven new designs and some samples that I created. All seven of our new designs are available for purchase and are ready to ship immediately.

Modern Plaid, 6×6 Red Rubber Cling Stamp
Our new Modern Plaid stamp is one of my new favorites. It’s a perfect backdrop for holiday florals and elements!

Bare Tones, 6×6 Red Rubber Cling Stamp
Our new Bare Tones is a beautiful repeat pattern of toned squares. Stamp it in a light ink or emboss it to get some gorgeous texture.

A glorious close up at the texture created using our Bare Tones background stamp. For this card, I stamped our Bare Tones in our Smoky Quartz stamp for the background and then white heat embossed the border.

Confetti Party, 6×6 Red Rubber Cling Stamp
Our new Confetti Party background stamp features a combination of round and star elements. You can repeatedly stamp this design by shifting your paper panel to get a multicolored/all over stamped effect.

Delicate Grid, 6×6 Red Rubber Cling Stamp
Our Delicate Grid stamp is just that – a delicate and subtle background print.

Diagonal Stripes, 6×6 Red Rubber Cling
You can never have enough stripe stamps! Our new Diagonal Stripes features thin and delicate diagonal stripes. You can use this pattern for backgrounds or as subtle accent strips.
Glass Windows, 6×6 Red Rubber Cling Stamp
Our new Glass Windows stamp features a repeat geometric pattern. This stamp was designed in a way that allows you to stamp larger than 6×6 inch panels.

This is a tough one… Given that my last name is Starr it is hard not to choose Confetti Party… but given my Scottish blood I can never turn away from a good plaid… so my favorite would have to be Modern Plaid!
