Hi, everyone! I’m back with another floral card today using our Tulip Bouquet stamp set. This time, I’m doing some copic coloring!
Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube Channel for more inspiration! I update our channel on a weekly basis!
I started off by stamping our tulip image onto some white cardstock using our copic friendly Caviar Hybrid Ink. Then I colored in the petals using three shades of pink (R43, RV14, RV25 and RV0000 to blend). For the leaves and stems, I used YG61, G07, G17, G29.
Once I finished coloring in my bouquet, I die cut the image using the coordinating die. I also die cut our 2 Piece Foliage coverplate plate die onto white cardstock at the same time. For this project, I only used the inner foliage die cut leaving the outer piece for a future project.
Once everything was die cut, I adhered the inner foliage die cut onto the face of a side folding A2 base. Then I popped up my tulip bouquet onto the center of my base. Next, I stamped my sentiment (from the same set) using our Caviar ink onto white cardstock. I trimmed the sentiment strip and adhered it onto a piece of gray cardstock. Once adhered, I trimmed the gray cardstock and mounted the matted sentiment over my tulip bouquet. Lastly, I embellished my card with our Glossy Black sequins.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project! Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
Love the card, and your color combinations and the background die. Everything you added to it just made it prettier. Thank you!
