Hi, everyone! I’m back with a very simple, one layer wall gallery card created with our Vintage Frames stamp set.
Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube Channel for more inspiration! I update our channel on a weekly basis!
I stamped my first frame near the lower left hand portion of my A2 panel using our crisp black Noir Dye Ink. This is where I’ll be stamping my sentiment so I wanted to make sure to position this one first. Next, I continued stamping around that initial frame. I made sure to mix and match the ornate frames with the more modern frames. I also made sure there was a nice balance of square and rectangle frames with the round and oval frames. Another rule of thumb when creating/stamping a wall gallery is to make sure you don’t stamp them in a straight line. For my wall gallery, I wanted a more asymmetrical result.
TIP: When you ink up the more intricate frame stamps, you want to make sure there is a very light coating of ink on the surface of the stamp. If there is too much ink on the surface \prior to stamping, your image will stamp more solid and you will lose some of the detail.
Once I finished stamping my frames, I stamped the congrats sentiment and then trimmed my panel about 1/8 of an inch on each side. Then I adhered my panel onto a side folding A2 cardbase.
If you know exactly where you plan on stamping your frames, this card will take you less than 5 minutes to complete. However, this took me about 15 minutes due to the layout planning but it’s still one of the fastest cards I have made in a while.
So that’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
