Hi there lovely peeps. Vera here today to bring you some rainbow inspiration for The Ton.
It’s been so darn hot in Houston, that I spent many times holing up in my room and just playing with watercolor. And, this is one of the result. 🙂
For this card, I started by watercoloring a panel of watercolor cardstock with rainbow colors. While I let it dry, I work on another panel of regular cardstock and die cut it with a panel of cardstock with The Ton Geomountain Coverplate A. Adhere it to the watercolor panel.
Next, the flower. I stamped & heat embossed the flower from Wishful Wildflowers set with Rose Gold embossing powder. Seriously, I’ve tried several rose gold embossing powder & I keep coming back to The Ton Rose Gold powder. It just has the perfect sheen & color that I just love. Watercolor the flowers and once it dry, adhere it to the layered panel with pop dots. Adhere them to the card base.
For the sentiment, I used sentiment from Basic Labels set & heat embossed it as well. As you know, I usually love using sequins, but, I decided not to go overboard with this card. There’s already quite a few thing going on on this card and I don’t want to over crowd it.
Well peeps, that’s all I have for today. I hope you like it as much as I do. 🙂 Enjoy your day & may your day be a blessed one. Cheers…
Vera
