Hello and welcome back to The Season! I am back with a project featuring our Anemone Border stamp and some of our sentiment dies.

Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube Channel for more inspiration! I update our channel on a weekly basis!

I started off by white heat embossing this beautiful border image onto watercolor paper (Canson XL 140LB). Then I added Orchid and Prussian Blue Color Bursts using a wet in wet watercolor technique. For more tips and instruction on how I watercolored this project, be sure to watch the video as I have more detailed instruction there.

Once the florals were painted, I added Lamp Black color bursts to my background. Then I made sure to dry the panel before I started die cutting. For my sentiment, I used our Congratulations Scripty Word Die and the gorgeous die from our Bold Amazing Greetings Wordplate Die Collection.  I cut the congrats on purple cardstock. For the “gorgeous”, I just die cut this directly onto my watercolor panel.

Next I adhered the painted panel onto a top folding A2 base. Then I glued all the inner pieces of the gorgeous die cuts onto the panel. Next I popped up all of the actual letters into their corresponding negative spaces. Then I added the congratulations die cut by putting tiny drops of adhesive to the bottom portion of the die cut. I adhered the congrats to the upper portion of the gorgeous popped up die cuts. This gave the congrats die cut a bit of support. Finally, I added our Clear Rhinestones to embellish my project.

That’s all from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

I love this card! I’ll agree with you that I was skeptical when you added the blue shade, but as you progressed it softened and made for a lovely combination. Very inventive to pop up the GORGEOUS and then raise the Congratulations by gluing it to the top of Gorgeous.
