Hello and welcome back to our blog! For today’s post, I have this gorgeously watercolored Peony Duo and our Stripe Addict card project.
Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube Channel for more inspiration! I update our channel on a weekly basis!
I started off by heat embossing the larger peony and leaves from our Peony Duo stamp set in our Rose Gold embossing powder. Then I watercolored these images using Indigo and Black color burst powders. Once dried, I die cut all the images using their coordinating dies. Next I used the smallest die from our Double Stitched Rectangles Small die collection to create the panel for my sentiment. The sentiment that I used is from our The Most Interesting Cardmaker 2.0 stamp set. This was stamped in our crisp black Noir Dye Ink.
Next I white heat embossed our Stripe Addict cling background stamp onto gray cardstock. Then I trimmed that panel about a 1/4 inch on the top and right edges. Then I adhered that trimmed panel onto a top folding horizontal A2 cardbase.
Next, I assembled everything onto my base. I mounted the peony first using foam tape. Then I popped up the rest of the leaves and sentiment panel using additional dimension tape. Lastly, I added some of our Smoked Sapphire Sparkling Clear Sequins.

That’s all from me today! Be sure to stop by our blog on Friday because I’ll be announcing all the giveaway winners from our Summer Kick Off Hop and Coloring Challenge hop. Thanks for stopping by!
Gorgeous! I especially like the stripes!

This is really stunning. Love the blue and the way the water has coaxed the blue down the petals.
