Your Next Stamp

wc wreath blue duo

For my post, I made two cards and videos using our Watercolor Bouquet and Watercolor Wreath Stamps! I stamped and colored one panel and sliced it diagonally to create two cards.

Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube Channel for more inspiration! I update our channel on a weekly basis!

I started off by stamping a background pattern using our Watercolor Bouquet stamp set in our Miami Cool Dye Ink. Then I colored in the background using color pencils. I added blue, dark pink and green accents for a bright and beautiful background panel. I sliced it in half and used the larger panel for my first card.

I stamped a rustic wood background using our Buildable Woodgrain layering stamp using our Crystal Pewter and Smoky Quartz Dye Inks. I only stamped about 2/3 of my panel since the bottom half would be covered by my bouquet panel.

Next I created a silver glitter and navy strip to adhere behind my bouquet panel. Next I mounted that onto my woodgrain panel. Then I heat embossed the beautiful wreath from our Watercolor Wreath onto navy cardstock using silver glitter embossing powder. I embossed my sentiment at the same time and then die cut the wreath using the coordinating die. Then I mounted the wreath and sentiment using foam tape.

For my second card, I used my remaining stamped bouquet piece.

I started off by white heat embossing our Peony Terrace stamp onto a top folding A2 horizontal cardbase. Then I adhered the bouquet sliced panel onto the left side of my base. I added a silver accent strip for some bling. Then I stamped a gorgeous frame from our Modern Labels set in our Ocean Teal Dye Ink. Next I stamped the sentiment from our Large Peony 4 set in our Miami Cool Dye Ink. Lastly, I die cut the label/frame using the coordinating die and then mounted it onto my base to complete my card.

To help celebrate this wonderful blog hop and challenge, we’re giving away three stamp sets of choice from our collection. To enter our giveaway, head over to our shop and let us know in the comments which stamp set you would like to win! We’ll pick three winners and announce them on our blog by the end of next week.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Your next stop is Whimsy Stamps.

This card is BEAUTIFUL. I love the colors as well as the Peony stamp you used. It has a bold design but not overpowering. I really enjoyed my visit to The Ton on this hop!

Beautiful card! Seriously choosing a favorite was really hard. What fantastic stamps you have. But I love the floral border cling background.

Your cards are awesome!!! As lovely as all the stamp sets are my favorite is the Peony Terrace Cling Background stamp.

Both cards are absolutely stunning – classic, elegant and just such a wonderful reminder of the glitz and glam of old Hollywood ♥ IF I could be so blessed by a stamp set from The Ton, I’d have to say Honey Bears stole my heart! TFS ♥

I am in AWE of your talent! I would like to win all three of them, but since I HAVE to choose I guess I will go with the watercolor wreath…it’s GORGEOUS!

Lovely cards! I love how you created with those shades of blue. Thanks for supporting this challenge as well. Riotous Wildflower — Simple stunning image!

Anyone who has ever stood behind me in line for ice cream knows that it is agony waiting for me to choose. But I think I would go with Pretty Plumeria. They’re such gorgeous flowers and so few people have done stamps of them! Thanks for sharing your beautiful cards. The blue reminds me a bit of certain Scandinavian china, which works really well in combination with the stamp you used. Thanks also for being so generous and supporting Kathy and the challenge. The crafty community is a delightful place to be!

  9. Jen K says:

Love your cards, especially as I have the Watercolor Bouquet and Peony Background. Another way to play with them! My wishlist is quite long, but high on my list are both Nesting Peonies and the Blooming Peony Garden Cling.
Lately, I’ve been enjoying the Daisy Duet. It’s so easy and fun to color and makes an impressive card.
Thanks for the opportunity to win something. Love your videos, too: good length and always with an interesting technique. Keep up the good work!

  10. Billie A says:

wow. the water color bouquet is so pretty. I love how you stamped it all over the card and gave a hint of color. I like the silver strip you added. The second card using the other half is brilliant idea. I really like the tool you used to get a better stamped background. I need to know more about this.. I will be subscribing to your blog.. Beautiful cards.

  11. Kathy Ferguson says:

Your cards are so attractive that when I first saw them I thought they were letterpressed. I love the Peony Terrace background stamp. It is simply beautiful, embossed in white. Thanks for sharing your designs with us and for giving us the opportunity to win one of your great products.

I think I am in LOVE! ❤ I didn’t know about your company before (I must be living in a cave in outer space)! First of all, your two example cards are gorgeous! Secondly, while browsing your site for a possibility of winning three stamp sets I was SO IMPRESSED! ! ! Not only do you have an amazing variety of stamps, you also have coordinating die……woohoo! Can ya tell I’m so not I to fussy cutting? And the videos included with the stamp sets were so very helpful! And the incredible “extras” included with any of your animal stamps is unbelievable! Selecting three stamp sets was REALLY difficult, but here goes…….1. Daisy Duet (my favorite flower and very difficult to find those stamps)!….2. Country Rose Cluster, gorgeous! ……3. Pretty Mail (not only would this make beautiful cards, but it could be used on envelopes also)! And lastly, I was super excited to see your amazing dies, primarily the assortment of LARGE words and lots of background plate dies. Needless to say, I was just blown away by your website…….now to save my pennies!!! Thank you very much for your generous sponsorship of this blog hop!!! 💗
