Hello crafty friends! Hope you’re having a great week so far! It’s TaeEun here today with a card featuring Motorcycle Boss from our March flash release. It is a great stamp set for masculine projects or for Father’s day!
I combined the cool motorcycle with the beautiful Always Cherry Blossoms image to create a scene of a motorcycle ride in a Spring day :). It’s already Mid-April but I’m still waiting for Spring to come here where I live.
I started off by watercoloring the cherry blossom tree cluster and a single flower falling down from Always Cherry Blossoms set. For no line watercoloring I stamped the image in Ballet Slippers (flowers) and Vanilla Frosted Cupcake (branch and leaves). I colored the dark background first in payne’s gray and gold and then watercolored the flowers and leaves. I colored the bottom part of the panel in payne’s gray to represent the ground.
I splattered black and gold onto the panel. After the panel was dry I cut it using a Double Stitched Rectangle die. Motorcycle Boss set contains some unique sentiments. I picked one of them and stamped it on the bottom of the panel in Noir.
In the picture below you can see the shine of the golden elements!
I then mounted the background panel on a dark gray cardbase. At that time I took a picture of the panel as I thought it could be a beautiful floral card as it is :)! What do you think?
I gold heat embossed the motorcycle, colored it in opera pink, cut it using coordinating die and foam mounted it onto the card. For more contrast I added on the flower center and stamen dots using black and white glaze pens. To finish off I added some Glass Slippers sequins.
Hope you enjoyed looking my card! Thank you so much for stopping by!
Wishing you all a beautiful Spring/Autumn day!
Hugs,
TaeEun
