blue nesting peonies

For my card today, I used our new Nesting Peonies stamp set.

I started off by stamping the peony tree cluster onto an A2 panel using our copic friendly Caviar Hybrid Ink.  Then I used my copic markers to color in the entire cluster image. After I finished coloring in my tree cluster, I stamped and colored my chickadees.

  • Blossoms: B32 Pale Blue, B23 Pthalo Blue and B34 Manganese Blue;
  • Leaves: BG13 Mint Green, BG72 Ice Ocean and BG75 Abyss Green;
  • Tree branches: E34 Oriental and E23 Hazelnut
  • Chickadees: E34 Oriental, C5 Cool Gray and

Next I added stitching to the edges of my colored panel using our Double Stitched Rectangles (Large) set. Then I adhered my panel onto an A2 side folding base. Lastly, I popped up my chickadees onto my tree cluster and finished my card off by embellishing it with Clear Rhinestones.

    Gorgeous card. Beautiful coloring. Thank you for participating in the autism awareness blog hop. My 8 year old nephew is autistic. He’s non-verbal but he loves music and likes getting his hands messy with ink after I stamp various images. This means so much to me.
