Ride Like a Boss!

Hi, crafty friends! It’s Jenny here and I would like to share a couple of masculine cards with you today. As many of us do, I also struggle with masculine cards. However, with help of our new motorcycle themed stamps sets (Motorcycle Boss and Motorcycle Layering stamp set), it was a breeze to make this set of cards. In my world, motorcycles this cool must be RED! lol! And I gotta admit… learning how to ride a motorcycle was always one of my dreams, so I had a ton of fun with these projects!

Let me show you the 1st card! I made this card using our new Motorcycle Boss stamp set and the Geometric Lattice Coverplate Die!

I started off by stamping the motorcycle image from our new Motorcycle Boss stamp set on a Bristol Smooth Cardstock. By using the MISTI stamping tool, I stamped the same image again on a gray cardstock. I went ahead and colored in the motorcycle with Scarlet Red, Carmine Red, Light Gray, and Dark Gray Zig Markers. I die cut the stamped gray cardstock using the Geometric Lattice Coverplate Die and kept pieces around the image intact by adhering tape on the back of the panel.

Next, I adhered the colored panel on a black A2 sized cardbase and glued the gray die cut panel on top. I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment on a black cardstock and popped it up on the card. I dressed up the card with some Silver Holographic sequins, Glass Slippers, and Shotgun Gray sequins and the card was done!

Here’s the 2nd card! I’m showcasing our new Motorcycle Layering stamp set on this one!

I started off “building” this cool red bike by stamping all the layers on a smooth white cardstock. The ink colors I used are: Pewter Collection, Caviar Hybrid, and Valentine Red Dye ink. I covered up the top portion of the cardstock with large post-it paper and ink blended Smoky Quartz and Light Onyx Dye ink to ground the image. Next, I die cut the panel using the largest layer from the Small Double Stitched Rectangle Dies and stamped the sentiment from the Motorcycle Boss stamp set in our Noir Dye ink.

Next, I adhered strips of our Glossy Fine Silver Adhesive paper on a black A2 size cardbase and adhered the main panel layered with a black cardstock. I dressed up the card with Glossy Black and Silver Holographic sequins and the card was complete!
