Life’s All About Rainbow, Glitter and Unicorns…and Flowers

Hello fellow card makers & happy Thursday to you all!! Brenda, here with you today. I have three cards to share!! Here’s the first one…

I had so much fun with this set!! I can’t wait to use it more!! I HAD to use the sentiment “Life’s all about rainbows, glitter and unicorns”…isn’t that the cutest? I wanted to include a unicorn,  rainbow & glitter on my card!! I used the Lavish Donuts & Unicorn Bundle, the Lavish Unicorn Ears and Horn, and Lavish Floral Cluster Coordinating Dies. I started off by stamping the horn with Vanilla Frosted Cupcake ink onto white cardstock. I colored it with Copic markers and cut with the Coordinating Die. I pounced the horn onto a Versamark Ink pad, heat embossed with Sticky Embossing Powder and applied clear super-fine glitter. The ears were stamped with Rose Quartz Ink & colored with Copic markers, before cutting with the Coordinating Die. Next, the flowers were stamped with Rose Quartz, Hollywood Star & Red Sangria. Soft Garden & Bright Fern Inks were used for the leaves. It was also cut out with the Coordinating Die. The eyelashes were also heat embossed with Sticky Embossing Powder toward the bottom of the card base, before applying black super-fine glitter. The sentiment was stamped with Noir Ink onto the top of the card base. All of the die-cuts were then attached to the card base with dimensional adhesive.

Here’s the second card, this one uses the Daisy (3/4 View) Close Up Cling Background stamp…

This stamp is beautiful!!! I stamped it with Vanilla Frosted Cupcake for some no-line coloring. I colored it with Copic markers and added details with colored pencils. I die-cut the hello from Bold General Greeting Word Plate Dies from the lower right corner, as well as some yellow fun foam. I trimmed the colored panel down and adhered it to a piece of pink cardstock panel cut to 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. The die-cut letters were adhered to the fun foam, then placed back into the negative die-cut letters on the panel. Some shimmer from a Clear Wink of Stella Clear pen was added to the die-cut letters. Finally, a few sequins from the Pink Bokeh and Pink Diamond Couture Mixes finished of the card. I love the pop of color that the yellow fun foam adds!!!

There was a new Anemone Border Cling Stamp released in the last Flash Release.

This time I chose to stamp with Versamark Ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder. I watercolored the image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and splattered on some color mixed with water. I cut the amazing from Bold Amazing Words Die from the center of the panel. I trimmed it down slightly and mounted to a piece of green glitter paper. The “You Are” is from the Loose Roses set and was stamped with Deep Emerald Ink onto a strip of white cardstock, before being cut into a small banner. A combination of sequins from the Pink Diamond and Misty Mint Couture Mixes were a perfect match!!
