Hello, everyone! It’s Jenny here today and I would like to share couple of cards I created with the Painted Peonies and Timeless peonies set. Both sets contains beautiful and elegant peonies images you achieve by stamping the layers. I also collaborated these stamp sets with our new 2 Piece Foliage Coverplate Die and Modern Labels, along with other fun products from The Ton!
Without a further ado, Here’s the 1st card!
To start off, I stamped all the layers from the Painted Peonies stamp set on a smooth white cardstock in Soft Garden Dye, Bright Fern Dye, and Ruby Collection Couture inks. I cut the panel down to 4″x5.25″.
Next, I die cut our 2 Piece Foliage Coverplate Die 3 times and glued the inner pieces together. I saved the outer die cuts for future projects. I placed the die cut over the stamped panel to decide the placement of the sentiment and stamped on the sentiment in our Noir Dye ink.
I adhered strips of Glossy Fine Mint Adhesive Glitter Paper on the edges of a white A2 card base and adhered stamped panel and the die cut on top. I dressed up the card with Clear Dew Drops and Glass Slippers Sequins and the card was complete!
Here’s the 2nd card I created with our beautiful and innovative Timeless Peonies stamp set and the classic Modern Labels stamp set and dies. I am so pleased with how this card turned out and I love that how it reminds me of a Cath Kidston or Royal Albert patterns.
To start off, I first stamped the background layer in Caribbean Turquoise Dye ink on a smooth white cardstock. Caribbean Turquoise Dye ink is one of my favorite The Ton Couture inks! 🙂 Then I went ahead and stamped the Peonies layers in our Soft Garden Dye, Bright Fern Dye, and Ruby Collection Couture inks. I die cut the panel down using the largest layer from the Large Double Stitched Rectangle Dies and heat embossed the edges with our gorgeous Rose Gold Embossing Powder.
Next, I stamped one of the label images from our Modern Labels Stamp set and the sentiment on a smooth white cardstock in Versamark ink. I heat embossed it with the Rose Gold Embossing Powder and die cut the frame out using the Coordinating Die.
I wrapped around the stamped panel with a lace I had in my stash and adhered the panel on a white A2 card base. I popped up the label die cut on the card with dimensional foam adhesive and finished the card by adding Pink Bokeh Couture Mix, Glass Slippers sequins, and Clear Rhinestones.
There are still few more days to join The Ton’s February Challenge ! This month’s Cue Word is Heart! Join us for a chance to win a $50 spree to The Ton’s shop! *Gift certificate only apply to The Ton stamps, dies, ink, gilding and embossing powder.
