So for today, I have some new standalone dies as well as new glitter adhesive paper packs for our February Flash Release! Everything mentioned in today’s post can be preordered immediately.

February Flash Release Items: Ribbed Glitter Paper (Silver/Black), New Coverplate Dies, Layered Wave Standalone Dies

So let’s move on to our Flash Release debut!

Our Layered Wave die set features two dies that cut out two pieces that layer seamlessly into a beautiful, dimensional wave.

Our newest Geometric Circle Coverplate die cuts out a gorgeous. delicate and chic pattern that will add subtle dimension to your projects. This coverplate measures approximately 4 in x 5.25 in. *This cover plate die does not have an outer cut line. Therefore, it will cut the geometric pattern into whatever panel you are die cutting.*

Our Foliage Coverplate Die cuts your panel into two separate interchangeable pieces and features gorgeous foliage elements. This coverplate measures approximately 3.75in x 5in. *This cover plate die does not have an outer cut line. Now onto the gallery of cards that I made to showcase our flash release. Enjoy!

For my first card, I die cut my wave layers in two different shades of blue cardstock. I made two layered waves for my project so I cut each die twice. I made sure to save one of the negative pieces of my lighter cardstock to add to my project. Once all pieces were cut, I took the second largest die from our Double Stitched Rectangles (Large) set and cut out a black stitched panel. Next I adhered the panel onto a top folding A2 base. Then I adhered my waves and negative piece. Lastly, I adhered my sentiment strip (stamped using our Basic Banners sentiment set).

For my next project, I used my Geometric Circle coverplate to die cut the delicate pattern onto white cardstock. Then I created my shiny backdrop using our new Silver Ribbed Glitter Adhesive Paper. Next I stamped my Peony Notes cluster (Ruby and Crystal Garden Collection Layering Inks) and die cut the image using the coordinating die. Next I adhered the Geometric Circle die cut onto the silver glitter panel. Then I popped up my Peony Notes cluster onto the panel with foam tape. For my sentiment, I used our XOXO die on bright pink cardstock and then popped up the sentiment onto my finished panel.

For my next card, I created my own Gold Foil cardstock using our Gold Foil Adhesive Paper. Next I die cut the panel using our Geometric Circle coverplate. Next I stamped and colored our Haute Gala Dress image (I also embossed the dress detail using gold glitter embossing powder). Next I stamped the sentiment from our Basic Banners set. I die cut the dress and banner using their coordinating dies. Next, I adhered the Geometric Circle die cut onto gray cardstock.  Lastly, I mounted my dress and banner onto the finished panel.

For my next pair of cards, I die cut my Two Piece Foliage Coverplate on mint and white cardstock. Then I interchanged the two inner pieces with the other color cardstock. I added stitching to the edges of the border pieces using the largest die in our Double Stitched Rectangles (large) set (I would recommend doing this before any die cutting for easier handling).

Next, I stamped my Fresh Cut Daisies in our Ruby and Amethyst Collection Layering Inks. The leaves were stamped using our Soft Garden and Bright Fern Dye Inks. Once stamped, I die cut my florals and leaves with their coordinating dies. Next I adhered my interchanged coverplate die cuts onto side folding bases. Then I popped up my daisies in the corners of the built in frame of the coverplate die cut. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment (Coming Up Daisies) in our Noir Dye Ink and embellished the cad using our Clear Rhinestones.

For my next card, I kept this one fairly simple.  I die cut our Best Day Ever coverplate die onto green cardstock.  Then I colored in the sentiment using a black zig marker. Finally, I adhered the die cut onto a side folding gray cardbase. Done!

For my last card, I die cut our Best Day Ever coverplate die onto white cardstock. Then I colored in the magnolia florals and foliage using zig markers. I created a thin pink border using the largest die from our Double Stitched Rectangles (Small) Die Set. I adhered the border onto my coverplate die cut. Then I adhered the finished die cut panel onto a side folding A2 cardbase.
