Spring Daisies

Hello, crafty friends! It’s Jenny here today and I have a couple of projects to share with you! Spring is written all over these 2 cards and the Daisies in pretty spring colors make my heart happy! 🙂 I used our new Fresh Cut Daisies stamp set, Bold Greeting Word Plate Dies, Delicate Polka Dots Cling Background stamp, and other fun products to create these cards.

Here’s my first card!

I started off by stamping all the layers from our new Fresh Cut Daisies on smooth white cardstock. I stamped 3 sets of daisies in different spring hues and by doing this, it gave me enough flowers to create pretty daisy bouquet for 2+ cards. I used our Ruby Collection inks for the pink daisies, the Minted Collection for the turquoise daisies, and Citrine Collection for the yellow daisies. Center of the flowers were stamped in Amber Citrine Dye and Dark Roast Dye ink, and I used Soft Garden Dye and Bright Fern Dye inks for the leaves. When all the stamping was done, I die cut them all out using the Fresh Cut Daisies Coordinating Dies and set them aside.

Next, I created the background by stamping our new Delicate Polka Dot Cling Background stamp on a Bristol Smooth Cardstock in Versamark ink. I heat embossed the panel in white and ink blended the bottom right corder with our Caribbean Turquoise Dye ink using the round blending tool. I cut it down slightly smaller than A2 size and die cut “hello” using our new Bold General Word Plate Dies. I adhered the panel on a A2 kraft cardstock.

I adhered the daisies and the leaves, some popped up with foam tape and added some white dots with the gel pen to create more interest. I dressed up the card with Clear Dew Drops and our new Mint Sugar Couture Mix.

Here’s the 2nd card!

This card is created just like the first one! I stamped the Mini Heart Print Cling Background stamp and heat embossed in white. Then, ink blended the bottom left corner with Caribbean Turquoise Dye ink, and die cut using the largest die from our Large Double Stitched Rectangle Dies. I also die cut “you’re” “wonderful” using our new Bold Amazing Greeting Word Plate Dies. I first adhered the Glossy Fine Mint Adhesive Glitter paper on a white A2 top folding card base and the panel on top so the pretty mint glitter show through the negative part of the word die cuts on the panel.

Next, I adhered the daisies and leaves, some popped up with the foam tape. To complete the card, I dressed it up with some white gel pen details, Clear Dew Drops, and Mint Sugar Couture Mix.
