For my projects today, I created three cards using our new Riotous Wildflowers Photopolymer 6×6 Background stamp.

Photo taken with our White Brick and Smooth White Wood Backdrop Boards
For my first card, I started off by white heat embossing the background image onto watercolor paper (Canson XL 1140 lb watercolor paper). Then I painted in the images using Color Bursts (Fuchsia, Sap Green, Gamboge) using the wet on wet watercoloring technique.

After I finished painting the panel, I added stitching to the edges of the panel using the largest die in our Double Stitched Rectangles Large set. Then I die cut a window using the smallest die in this Double Stitched Rectangles set. Once I finished my die cutting, I blended some ink (Soft Garden and Bright Fern) halfway up the negative space/window of my top folding A2 cardbase. Finally, I popped up my die cut panel onto the base using dimensional tape and added Clear Rhinestones for a subtle and delicate finish.

For my next card, I heat embossed the Riotous Wildflowers image onto watercolor cardstock using our Rose Gold embossing powder. Then I watercolored the image using Color Bursts (Indigo, Terre Vert, Marsala).

Once I finished painting the panel, I added stitching to the edges of my panel using the largest die in our Double Stitched Rectangles Large set. At the same time, I die cut my sentiment using our new Bold General Greetings Word Plate Dies.

I only used the negative space for my sentiment here (I used the die cut letters in the next card). Next I took a side folding A2 base and adhered some gorgeous Pink Holographic Adhesive Paper to the base where the sentiment will cover. Lastly, I adhered the panel onto the base!

For my last card today, I made a quick card using the left over die cut letters from my previous card.

I started off by white heat embossing the Riotous Wildflowers onto watercolor cardstock. Then I created a soft watercolored frame on my panel using Indigo and Terre Vert Color Bursts. I used the same colors from the previous card/die cut letters to ensure that that the project as a whole was cohesive.

Once the panel was dry, I added stitching to the edges of the panel for interest. Lastly. I popped up my letters (starting with the middle letters) using tiny foam squares and then added our Clear Dew drops.
I hope you all liked my cards! Be sure to join us back here tomorrow (and everyday until January 26) to continue celebrating our Third Anniversary!

Amazing how different colours used with the same stamp make it look like a different one. Love the colour combinations on all the cards today. Love the use of the “rubbish” bits of the letters, it looks so good. I would normally bins these bits. No more – thanks for the tip.

Oh, that first card looks so physically soft, I just want to pet it. And something about the rose gold embossing with the wildflowers really looks like classic ceramics, which I love. This is a really stellar release, and I appreciate so much the many varied ways you’re showing us how we can use the various stamp sets!
