Hello everyone and welcome back for the first of our Anniversary Release Mini Hops! I hope you enjoyed seeing all of the new products and inspiration this week by the team.  This week we released 23 new stamps, coordinating and standalone word dies, 9 new Couture Mixes and additional gilding.  Everything is available in our shop now!

For my card today I used our new and beautiful Peony Bouquet set.

I started off by white heat embossing the peony cluster in the corners of watercolor paper panel (Canson XL 140lb). I decided to do some loose watercoloring using Color Bursts with this project. I used Rouge, Lime Green and Jack O Lantern.

Once I finished watercoloring, I let the panel dry before I added stitching to the edges of my A2 panel using our Double Stitched Rectangles Large dies. Next I heat embossed the sentiment from our Most Interesting Cardmaker 2.0 (Updated Set) not vellum.  I made sure that the sentiment would be long enough to wrap around my watercolor panel. Additionally, I cut a slighter bigger strip of gray cardstock which I used to mount my vellum strip onto.

I adhered the ends of the vellum on top of the ends of the gray strip. Then I fold the two strips back and adhered the strips to the back of my watercolored panel. Lastly I embellished the card using Clear Rhinestones.

    Wow, so many beautiful stamps and bold dies! I’m simply lost in creative thought. Will have to visit a few times to see which I have to add to my collection. Lovely card – watercolors are beautiful with the peonies!

    Wow, I would not have guessed that you did that watercoloring with Color Bursts from the picture. So cool to learn that you can get different looks with these products, and, of course, the stamp is gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing! I’m really looking forward to all these mini hops!
