Let’s move on to my cards for the day!

For my card today I used our new and beautiful Peony Bouquet set.

Be sure to follow us on YouTube for more inspiration! I update our channel on a weekly basis!

I started off by white heat embossing the peony cluster in the corners of watercolor paper panel (Canson XL 140lb). I decided to do some loose watercoloring using Color Bursts with this project. I used Rouge, Lime Green and Jack O Lantern.

Once I finished watercoloring, I let the panel dry before I added stitching to the edges of my A2 panel using our Double Stitched Rectangles Large dies. Next I heat embossed the sentiment from our Most Interesting Cardmaker 2.0 (Updated Set) not vellum.  I made sure that the sentiment would be long enough to wrap around my watercolor panel. Additionally, I cut a slighter bigger strip of gray cardstock which I used to mount my vellum strip onto.

I adhered the ends of the vellum on top of the ends of the gray strip. Then I fold the two strips back and adhered the strips to the back of my watercolored panel. Lastly I embellished the card using Clear Rhinestones.

Oh, my heart is really going pitter patter! Love the colors, and I am just nuts about that sentiment! Thank you so much. I am so glad I didn’t try to catch up on my phone–I would never have caught the details. It really is very special.
