Hello all, it’s LauraJane! I have a scrappy card for you today with GOLD embossing as a touch of interest. Here it is:
To make the card:
- Create an A2 sized panel from pattern paper using the Double Stitched Rectangle Dies
- draw a thin line along the green stripe with an Embossing Pen and Heat emboss with GOLD EP.….set panel aside
- On Vellum paper; Stamp and Emboss in Gold the Celebration Rose Cluster and trim with Coordinating Die
- Color on the backside of the vellum Cluster with alcohol markers… this protects the nib of the markers
- Create two fishtail banners; one from paper Embossed in Gold and the other from patterned vellum
- Cut two layers of HUGS, one from green washi covered paper and the other from black CS..layer offset to give a shadow effect:))
- stamp FOR YOU (fromBokeh Burst – Round stamp set)with Crystal Pewter..trim out to make a tiny tag
- Layer all together with Liquid Glue, onto Striped Panel
- Tie a Twine bow around the cluster attaching the tiny tag at the bow with more Glue
I hope you like this card and give GOLD embossing a try! It adds so much with very little effort:))
See you next week with our New Release!
HUGS,
LauraJane:)

Such a lovely card. The gold embossing certainly adds some pazaza to the whole card.
