Hello everyone! it’s LauraJane today. Hope your week has been Splendid! Mine has been filled with creating THANK YOU cards for all the many lovely gifts received this Christmas.
I’m sharing two cards that came together quickly by stamping images in a light Crystal Pewter ink and adding a few pops of color to create a presentation that is sure to cheer the recipient:))
For this first one, I stamped Tulip Bouquet several times onto a panel trimmed with the largest of Double Stitched Rectangle die. Then I stamped and cut out 6 bows from the set and colored them with alcohol markers. Stamped the sentiment with Lipstick red, Coraline, and Peach Blossom Couture inks., to coordinate with the rainbow of BOWS:))
To finish the card, I added Nuvo Drops to match the happy hues of the bows.
Using the same technique on the second card I stamped several images from Thankful Chrysanthemum.
For the smallest blooms, cut out with the coordinating dies, I stamped first with Couture inks: Cali Blue, Bright Emerald, and Soft Garden and Bright Fern. To quickly add color, I gave each a spritz with some inks sprays from my stash. Embellishment,.. I added a bit of embroidery floss tied in a bow and a few dots of Nuvo Drops.
The sentiment is inked with Cali Blue:))
I hope you are inspired to try this easy technique to create some thank you cards too!
