Hello, crafty friends! It’s Jenny here taking over the blog today! For today, I would like to share couple of Blue & Silver Christmas shaker cards. I love how these cards turned out and I hope you enjoy them!
Here’s the first card!
To start off, I stamped the Holiday Border Cling stamp on a Bristol Smooth cardstock in Versamark and heat embossed in white. I ink blended Cali Blue Dye, Parisian Blue, and True Navy all over and heat embossed the edges with Silver sparkle embossing powder. Next, I ink blended with the same inks, stamped and heat embossed the Basic Banner stamp set and the Holiday Add-on Mini stamp set to create the sentiment banner. I die cut it out using the Coordinating Die.
I die cut the center using the Coordinating Die and turned the panel into a shaker frame by adhering clear acetate and double layer of 3M foam tape on the back. I filled the shaker frame with Silver Holographic sequins, Milky Way Couture Mix, Glass Slippers, and Diamond Dust and closed it up with Glossy Fine Silver Adhesive paper. I prepared a A2 white card base by adhering strips of Glossy Fine Silver Adhesive paper on the edges. I adhered the shaker on the card base, added some silver thread and the sentiment banner, and adhered the Silver and Clear Dew Drops to complete the card.
Here’s the 2nd card!
I started off by stamping the Holiday Border Cling Stamp on a Bristol Smooth cardstock in Versamark ink and heat embossed it in white. I again ink blended Cali Blue Dye, Parisian Blue, and True Navy Dye ink and adhered it on a white A2 card base.
Next, I stamped all the layers of the Christmas Tree stamp set and die cut using the Coordinating Die. I double stamped the last layer again with Versamark and heat embossed in silver. I popped it up on the card with foam tape and I also die cut a silver star using the die from the same set and adhered it on the top as the tree topper.
Then, I moved on to the shaker card elements. I adhered the Glossy Fine Silver Adhesive paper on a white smooth cardstock and die cut a frame using largest and 2nd largest die from our Large Double Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered acetate and double layer of 3M foam tape. I placedSilver Holographic sequins, Milky Way Couture Mix, Glass Slippers, and Diamond Dust on the middle of the card and closed it up with the shaker frame. I adhered the Sentiment Banner (created the same way as the 1st card) and the card was complete!
