Hello Everyone! Anna here with two holiday cards I made using The Ton Fall 2017 Release stamp sets.
For the first one, I stamped four images from Holly Branch stamps with Everglade Moss Dye, Couture Color – Valentine Red Dye and Couture Color – Hampton White Pigment. The branches were stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed in Rose Gold. All images were cut out with Holly Branch Coordinating Die. Then I stamped sentiment on a A2 sized kraft cardstock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I added some Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel at the top and at the bottom of my kraft card panel and adhered all holly branches onto that panel. Lastly, I attached the kraft panel to the card base.
To create my second card I started by stamping beautiful poinsettias from Christmas Mini Cluster onto a white cardstock with Caviar. I colored them with Copic markers. Then I stamped the same images on Masking Paper and cut out them. I covered flowes I stamped on the white cardstock with the pieces of masking paper. I ink blended the edges of the panel using Hot Tourmaline Dye and removed masking paper. Next, I added some white and gold gel pen dots. I stamped sentiment from Holiday Love Poinsettia with Noir. I embellished the card using Nuvo Drops – Pale Gold.
That’s all from me today!

i’m thinking that many of the colors and designs this year for christmas are just not moving me.
take the two cards shown. first one reminds me of a cozy christmas. the second one (blue and orange) is really not very holiday(ish). nice concept, but the colors this year are to me awful.
the old saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” comes to mind. traditional colors and themes in dif styles hang in there solid. but not so this year w the crazy colors (that are supposed to be retro some of them… aren’t. i have to think that i am not the only one out there. nobody is willing to say it though.
but as i mentioned, nice concept/design on blue and orange card, but the colors… not so much.
