Happy Holidays

Hello fellow card makers!! Brenda here with you today!! I am sharing a holiday card with a striking color combo. I thoroughly enjoyed coloring these beautiful images!!

Happy-Holiday-Red-&-Purple1

I started off by stamping the Holiday Love Poinsettia image onto white cardstock with Caviar Ink, then coloring with Copic markers and colored pencils. Next, I cut the image with the Holiday Love Poinsettia Coordinating Die. After figuring out placement of the die-cut image, I stamped the Christmas Mini Cluster image toward the top and bottom of a top-folding note card. Those images were also stamped with Caviar Ink and colored with Copics and colored pencils. I adhered the die-cut poinsettia with foam adhesive between the images on the card base for added dimension. The sentiment is from the Holiday Movie Sentiment Mini set. It was stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder on a strip of black cardstock. I cut the strip into a banner by notching each end, then adhered it with foam adhesive as well. The berries on the sprigs were dotted with a yellow gel pen. I also added gold stickles to the center of each flower. Black Nuvo drops were placed around the images to tie it all together.

Absolutely breathtaking! Love the purple clusters and black Nuevo drops! They really make your gorgeous red poinsettia pop off the card in a beautiful way! I really love this card! If it arrived at my house it would be framed and given a place of honor on my mantle! TFS!
