Hello and welcome back everyone! I created a quick watercolored card using our Holiday Love Poinsettia.
Don’t forget to subscribe to our Youtube Channel because I update it regularly with videos every week!
I started off by white heat embossing the large cluster using Brutus Monroe’s Alabaster white embossing powder. Next I applied Ken Oliver Color Bursts (Peony, Tangerine, Sap Green. Lemon Yellow) to all the elements. I used the wet on wet technique for this card. I started off by applying clean water to the areas I planned on painting. Then I dropped in bits of color using fine tip aqua brushes. I used my clean brush to then blend out my pigment.
Once I finished painting, I set the panel aside to dry and then stamped my sentiment using our crisp black (and archival) Noir Dye Ink. Next I adhered two strips of Red Foil Adhesive paper to the edges of a side folding A2 base leaving a strip of white showing on each edge. Then I adhered my panel onto the base and added Clear Dew Drops to embellish my card.
That’s it for today! Happy Saturday and hope you all have an amazing day!
