Hi everyone! I’m popping in again with another card and video. I am backtracking from Christmas cards to show you a fall themed Thanksgiving card for today’s post. Be sure to scroll down to the end of the post to see if you’re the winner of our WCMD giveaway.

I started off by rose gold heat embossing my Thankful Cornucopia image onto watercolor paper. Then I painted in the images using a fall themed color palette (I used my Holbein watercolor paints). After I painted the image, I set the panel aside to dry while I stamped my layered sunflowers. For the petals, I used our Citrine Collection Inks (Vanilla Frosted Cupcake, Beach Blondie and Amber Citrine). For the two step center of my sunflower, I used our Found Topaz and Aspen Cocoa Dye Inks. For the my leaves, I used our Crystal Garden Collection Inks.

Once everything was stamped and painted and dried, I used the coordinating dies (Cornucopia, Sunflowers) to cut everything out. Before I did any assembling, I created a blended panel of Lemon Yellow Dye Ink and Coralline Hybrid Ink. Then I splattered some gold acrylic paint (mixed with a bit of water) onto my panel. Next, I adhered my sunflowers directly onto my blended panel and then popped up my cornucopia onto the bed of sunny florals.

Before I popped up the cornucopia, I made sure to trim the panel at the top and bottom so that the base would peek out from under the panel. For my A2 top folding base, I used a bright orange cardbase. Lastly, I rose gold heat embossed my sentiment banner and embellished my card with Clear Rhinestones.
