Screen Shot 2017-09-30 at 6.45.29 AM

Hello and welcome to Day 1 of our October 2017 Release! We are so excited to debut 11 new stamps over the next few days. We have the absolute pleasure of releasing some of Eunji’s beautiful floral designs as well as 2 of my own.

For this release, we are doing things a bit differently.  Our team has not made any cards for Release Week as their stamps are on their way to them as we speak.  However, you will see their gorgeous creations at the end of the month where we will have a fun blog hop with prizes! For today, I have made several cards showcasing Day 1 sets – I hope you will not be disappointed!

For our October 2017 Release, preorders will open on Monday, October 2nd at 7am EST and shipping of all new release orders will begin to ship on Tuesday, October 10th.

For Day 1, we have 4 new stamps which includes a free gift with purchase over $100 dollars***(see below for additional GWP details).

daffodil greetings

For my first card showcasing our new GWP stamp, I created a field of sunny daffodils. I started off by rose gold heat embossing each daffodil cluster across my watercolor panel. Then I painted each cluster using a combination of Lemon Yellow and Orange Color Bursts. The greenery was painted using a mixture of Sap Green, Terre Vert and Prussian Blue bursts. I added stitching to the edges of my panel using the largest die from our Double Stitched Rectangles (large) set. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from our new Country Rose Cluster onto the panel with our crisp black Noir Dye Ink Pad.

Now onto the rest of the release!

For my first card, I started off by gold heat embossing the floral section of our Tulip Bouquet onto an A2 sized card panel. I partially heat embossed the bouquet to obtain a mirror image effect. Then I watercolored the florals using Color Bursts (Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Red and Sap Green). Next I heat embossed the sentiment panel strip and popped it up onto my card in the center of my bouquets. I adhered my watercolored panel onto a side folding A2 black card base and lastly embellished my card with some clear rhinestones.

For my next project, I rose gold heat embossed the tulip bouquet and then watercolored the image with color bursts (peony and sap green). Then I embossed the vase onto kraft cardstock and trimmed it near the base so that it would taper off to look like my bouquet was newly wrapped/packaged. I added some character to my “vase” by adding shading with zig markers. Next I added the bow and clear rhinestones to complete my card.

For my last bouquet card, I stamped  my tulips onto cardstock with our Copic friendly Caviar Hybrid Ink. Then I colored in the image using a combination of Copics, a red Copic Spica glitter pen and a micron black pigment ink pen.

For my next card, I continued my copic coloring to bring our new Country Rose Cluster to life. Other supplies used: Copic Friendly Hybrid Ink

For my next card, I chose a two toned palette for my Country Roses. Then I blended some Bright Emerald Dye Ink onto white cardstock and added blue watercolor splatters for texture.  Next, I stamped the sentiment from our Daffodil Greetings in our crisp black Noir Dye Ink onto the blended panel and, finally, I popped up the cluster onto the blended panel. country rose two tone2

For my next card, I rose gold heat embossed the corners of m panel with our Country Rose Custer and then watercolored the images using Peony and Sap Green Color Bursts. Then I stamped the sentiment in our Noir Dye Ink. Next I added stitching to the edges of my panel using the largest dies form our Double Stitched Rectangles (large) die set.

For my next card, I channelled my inner Amy Tsuruta! I stamped our Country Rose Cluster onto an A2 card panel in our light Crystal Pewter Dye ink. Then I stamped the Hugs sentiment in our Noir Dye Ink right over the cluster. I adhered the stamped panel onto a black card panel and then adhered the entire panel onto a gray top-folding cardbase.

For my next card, I white heat embossed my Loose Roses onto the corners of my watercolor panel. Next I watercolored the florals and leaves utilizing a blue and gray color palette. For this card, I painted with Color Bursts and embellished with our Clear Dew Drops.

For my last card, I gold heat embossed our Loose Roses onto vellum and arranged them around my Modern Label sentiment. Next I clear embossed our Rose Terrace stamp onto gray cardstock. I then took the second largest die from our Double Stitched Rectangles (small) set to die cut the Rose Terrace Panel. Then I mounted my Modern Label onto my Terrace panel. Once that was complete, I accented my roses with gold embossed foliage.

That’s all from me today! I hope you liked my projects!
