Hi everyone!
Daria here and I am very happy to join The Ton Blog today as a guest designer for this month. Thank you so much Effie for the invitation. I have got to play with three stamp sets from the summer release: Anemone Wishes and Basic Banners. It was a great pleasure!
I think you will agree that gorgeous flower clusters are The Ton’s signature, and I couldn’t pass on those. With Anemone Wishes stamp set, it is so easy to create sophisticated cards plus you have got great sentiments.
For my card, I stamped the flowers with black ink into my card base to create grounding for my future flower clusters.
Then, I stamped, colored and fussy cut multiple flowers and leaves from the bouquet. When it was done, I adhered them with foam adhesive for added dimension. I also tried to follow the rule of three – creating visual color triangle that is more pleasing to the eye.
Although, there are some really awesome sentiments in the set, I’ve wanted to use some from Basic Banners. I like that you can mix and match all kind of phases with this one. But here, I’ve decided to go with a simple one, as my background was already quite busy, I’ve needed something less complex to balance it.
That’s all from me. Thanks so much for staying with me, hope you have got some ideas to try. If so, be sure to tag me and The Ton in social media. We’ll be very excited to see what you create.
Xoxo,
Daria
