Beautiful Large Peonies

Hello, everyone! It’s Jenny here and I’m back with couple of cards I created featuring our beautiful Large Peony stamp sets. I absolutely adore all of our Large Peony stamp sets, but I decided to go with our most recent sets, the Large Peony 4 and the Large Peony 5 stamp set + Coordinating dies. These beautiful and large images are so fun to color! Without a further ado, let me show you the cards!

Here the 1st card, featuring our Large Peony 4 stamp set + Coordinating Dies.

First off, I stamped the images on a A2 sized Bristol Smooth cardstock in our Noir Dye ink. I ink blended Lofty Mint Dye and Caribbean Turquoise Dye ink to created soft turquoise/blue background. It’s ok to go over the stamped images, because I planned to adhere the die cut and colored images over them. After the ink blending was done, I die cut the panel using the largest die from (Large)Double Stitched Rectangle Dies to add interest.

Next, I stamped the peony & leaves on a watercolor paper in our Noir Dye ink. I stamped several times (to make the outlines extra bold) and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored the images with Color Burst Powders (Peony, Sap Green, Lime Green, and Lemon Yellow), waited for them to dry completely, and die cut them out using the Coordinating Dies.

I adhered the background panel on a white A2 card base and stamped the sentiment in Noir Dye ink. I adhered the die cut images, some popped up with foam tape. I added bit of shimmer to the images with Clear Sparkle Pen and dressed up the card with Mix Clear Dew Drops and Glass Slippers Sequins.

Here’s the second card featuring our Large Peony 5 stamp set + Coordinating Dies!

This card was made exactly the same way as the 1st one. However, I slightly changed the design by adding a 2nd flower on top and added a sentiment banner.
