Happy Friday everyone!! Brenda, here with you today. I hope you have some fun things planned for the weekend!!  Fall is definitely in the air here in the Midwest!! The high temperature is only supposed to reach 80 degrees all next week. Quite a change from the 90 – 100 degree weather we have been experiencing. I LOVE warmer weather, but I also love fall…just not so much what comes after fall…the dreaded winter.

Sunflowers always remind me of fall and today I have three cards that are all very similar. All I did was change up the embossing powder, sentiment and embellishments.

I began by heat embossing the Fresh Cut Sunflower Coordinating Outline images with gold, white & sparkle gold embossing powders. The images were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers (without water) and then cut with the Coordinating Dies. I cut three panels with the Double Stitched Rectangle Dies (Large) and watercolored them in shades of blue. The Haute Stripes Background Cling Stamp was stamped and heat embossed onto some white cardstock with the same three embossing powders, before die-cutting with the largest of the Double Stitched Rectangle Dies (Large).  All the sentiments are from Anemone Wishes and were also heat embossed onto the lower, right corner of the watercolored panel. The sunflowers and leaves were adhered to the panel, with the largest being popped up with foam adhesive. The watercolored panel was also adhered with dimensional adhesive onto the striped background. A few sequins were the finishing touch.

Last, but not least, is the sparkle gold powder and sequins from Belle’s Dress Couture Mix. (The sparkle is so hard to photograph.)

Do you have a favorite? I can’t decide…I love the tone-on-tone of the white, but the gold is so elegant and the sparkle gold is so, well, sparkly!!!
