Take against our Gray Wood Backdrop Board(12x12in)
Hello everyone and happy Sunday!! I’m back with another card and video created using our Peony Crush cling background stamp.
I started off by rose gold heat embossing the large background stamp on an A2 sized watercolor panel. Then I watercolored each peony using my new Alpine Rose Dr. PH Martin’s Radiant Concentrated Watercolor. For my peony leaves, I used my Grass Green concentrated watercolor from the same set. I also used a bit of blue watercolor paint to add shading and depth to my foliage.
I set my panel aside to dry while I heat embossed some beautiful butterflies in the same rose gold embossing powder on vellum. I also embossed my sentiment from our Basic Banners set. Once everything was embossed, I die cut the butterflies and banner with their coordinating dies and popped them up onto my watercolored panel. For my butterflies, I bent them a bit at the wings and partially glued them down. This way the wings came off the panel and added some great dimension to the project.
Next, I adhered my panel onto a side folding A2 cardbase and then embellished my card with some Clear Dew Drops in 7mm and 5mm sizes.
I hope you all enjoyed today’s video and card! Thanks for stopping by!!!
