Hi everyone, it’s Lisa here again, stamping with The Ton!  I’m stopping by today to share with you a sweet little birthday card I made using The Ton’s Summer Blooms stamps and coordinating dies.   I love the look of these Summer Blooms stamped with Hampton White Pigment ink and embossed with Ranger Superfine White embossing powder.  I used Bristol watercolor paper so that I could do some coloring with my Kuretake Clean Color Real Brush Markers.   I love watching Effie’s watercolor instructional videos on The Ton’s YouTube channel.  She has helped me learn to color and shade my florals using different techniques and mediums.  If you get a chance, I highly recommend you stop on over and follow her on YouTube, she’s awesome!

Using The Ton’s Minor Stripes Cling Background Stamp and Hollywood Star dye ink, I stamped a 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of white cardstock.  Then I cut a 2″ piece for the bottom and glued the Summer Blooms to the top edge.   Using the Modern Labels die set I cut a piece to line up along the top edge of the card.  I added dimensional tape to the back of both of these pieces.

Next, I stamped the sentiment onto a top folded 4.25″ x 5.5″ white card base.  I temporarily positioned the top and bottom striped pieces to make sure I was lining the sentiment up correctly.  Using my MISTI I stamped the Noir black sentiment first, from the Summer Blooms stamp set.  This set has some beautifully scripted sentiments along with the florals and I really love the look of the mixed fonts.  I stamped the “Happy Birthday” from the Beer stamp set using more Hollywood Star dye ink.

Before adhering the two finished striped pieces, I also stamped some pretty Hollywood Star pink hearts from the Panda Can’t Even stamp set.   Then I thought it would be super cute to add a little  panda peeking out from the flowers.  He is stamped with Noir black dye ink and cut out with coordinating dies.  I just bought this Panda Can’t Even set and I think I’d better warn you…you’ll be seeing these little cuties a lot from me for a while.  If I have my way, they will peek out from every card I make.  They are just so fun!
