SUMMER time

Hello Everyone! Anna here and today I’d like to share with you two fun summer cards I made using Palm Tree stamp set.

For my first card I decided to stamp palm trees with Beach Blondie, Coralline and Violet Fringe Ink pads.

The third layer of the palm tree was stamped with Couture Color – Hampton White Pigment and then with Violet Fringe. I cut out the palm trees using Palm Tree Coordinating Dies. To create a frame (ocean frame), I used Wave stamp , Caribbean Turquoise Dye, Cobalt Breeze and Double Stitched Rectangle Dies (Small). Next , I stamped sentiment from Palm Tree on a kraft card base and embossed it with white embossing powder.

I affixed the frame and all palm trees to the card base with foam tape. Lastly, I added Glass Slippers Round Confetti to finish off the card.

For the second card I started off by stamping images from Sunnies and Palm Tree stamp sets.

I stamped sunglasses with Coralline, colored them with Copic markers and cut out with Sunnies Coordinating Dies. The palm trees were stamped with Couture Color – Crystal Garden Collection, Found Topaz Dye and cut out with Palm Tree Coordinating Dies. To create the background (card panel) , I used a washi tape to mask horizontal stripes . Then I blended Lemon Drop Dye onto a card panel and removed the washi tape.

I stamped the sentiment on a kraft cardstock, embossed it in white and cut out with Double Stitched Rectangle Dies (Small). I adhered the card panel onto the kraft card base and affixed the sentiment and all images to the card panel. I embellished the card using Glass Slippers Round Confetti.

I hope you enjoyed my summer cards today.
