Welcome!! Hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!! Brenda here with you today to share two cards I created using stamps & dies from the new Summer Release!! So much goodness in this release!! Hopefully you are enjoying your new goodies!!!

For this first card, I stamped the Anemone Wishes stamp toward the top of a panel of heavyweight cardstock with distress ink. It was colored with Copic markers, with more detail added with colored pencils, for a no-line look. The panel was cut with the Double Stitched Rectangle Die (Large), mounted onto some purple cardstock, then adhered onto some fun foam. The sentiment from Penned Sentiments (so many great sentiments in this set!) was double stamped with Noir & Soft Amethyst Inks for a shadow effect. This sentiment really seems to be popping off of the card…so easy to do using the MISTI. The panel was adhered to a piece of pattern paper and a top folding note card. Sequins from Summer Soiree Couture Mix were added for the finishing touch. I also added some detail to the stamen of the flowers with tiny dots from a white gel pen.

Now, I love color as much as anyone, so this next card is a little different for me…

I wanted to replicate the white anemone, and I think I achieved that!! I used the Fresh Cut Anemone layering set, but skipped the bottom layer, leaving it white. The second layer was stamped with Crystal Pewter ink, the third with Versamark and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. For the center of the flowers, I also used Versamark, but black embossing powder this time. I used the Fresh Cut Anemone Coordinating Dies and cut out all the stamped images. I played around with the die-cuts until I found an arrangement that I liked, then adhered the leaves flat to a black panel cut with the Double Stitched Rectangle Dies (Large). I placed a strip of washi tape toward the bottom of the panel. The sentiment from Penned Sentiments was heat embossed with silver embossing powder onto a strip of black cardstock that was cut into a banner. I used the Fresh Cut Anemone Coordinating Dies again, this time cutting them into black fun foam. I placed the foam behind the flowers and adhered them to the panel for added dimension. The panel was mounted onto a panel of gray cardstock, then a top-folding note card. I used Novu Crystal Drops – Metallic Silver around the flowers for some extra silver shine. I love the dimension on this card!! It would be great for a 25th wedding anniversary or for a classy wedding card!!

Also, I used the fantastic Bokeh Glow backdrop board to photograph my cards!!
