Beautiful Anemones

Hello, everyone! It’s Jenny here! Hope you are doing well and staying cool! I just got back from Las Vegas couple of days ago and the 110+ degrees weather there was almost unbearable! Hoping I could just stay home with a/c and craft away this weekend! 🙂

For today, I would  like to share a card I created with our new Fresh Cut Anemones stamp set and the Coordinating dies. This stamp set is so easy to layer and gives you the most beautiful anemone images ever! I can’t wait to share I how created this card so let’s get started!

I started off by stamping all the layers of the anemone and leaf images from the Fresh Cut Anemones Stamp set. I made 2 sets of them to create florals in 2 different hue. I used my mini MISTI stamping tool to stamp all the images. I stamped the purple florals in our Amethyst Collection Couture Color Inks and the Fuchsia florals in Orchid Collection inks. The stamens are stamped in Noir Dye ink and the leaves are stamped in our Crystal Garden Collection. I love that our ink collections are perfectly coordinated so that you don’t need to guess which colors to layer the images with. When I was done with stamping the images, I die cut them out using the Coordinating dies.

I moved on to the background next, by stamping the Minor Stripes Background Cling stamp on a smooth cardstock in Noir Dye ink. Then I brushed Iris Blooms Dye ink using the Clarity Stencil Brush on 2 corners of the panel. I also added bit of interest by die cutting the panel using the largest die from our (large) Double Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the striped background panel on A2 sized white card base and adhered the die cut images. I popped up some flowers and leaves with the foam tape to create some dimension.

I stamped the sentiment from our new Fresh Cut Anemones Coord. Outlines stamp set on a black cardstock in Versamark and heat embossed in white. I fussy cut the sentiment and adhered it on the card. When I was done with all that, I felt like the card needed little more something. So I adhered the Glossy Fine Pink Adhesive paper on a white cardstock, cut a thin strip, and adhered it on the left side of the card. I added some clear Dew Drops and Glass Slippers sequins and the card was complete!
