Guest Designer: Laurie Willison

Hey there, crafty friends, its Laurie Willison here today with a quick, clean and simple card.  I live in Kansas and we love sunflowers here, so when I saw this set called Fresh Cut Flowers, I knew I had to give it a try.

I stamped a panel of sunflowers using my Misti and they were super easy to line up.  If you layer a small piece of acetate with your layering stamps, it helps to get them lined up perfectly and then you can pick up that stamp with the Misti door.

I used a scalloped, stitched rectangle die to cut out a portion of the stamped panel and then popped it up with foam tape.  I added in that adorable sentiment, which is also included in the set, in the same brown ink as the flower centers.  Easy peasy!

I hope you have enjoyed today’s card.  I have a couple other guest posts coming up, so I will be back soon!  Thanks so much to Effie for having me!

Such a beautiful card, Laurie! I love how you stamped the sunflowers to create your pattern and the tiny sentiment is so sweet!
