Hello, everyone! Today I have a zig colored Wildflower Banner card for you.

I started off by stamping our Wildflower Banner stamp on cardstock in our Noir Dye Ink. Then I colored the florals in with zig markers (No 200 S. Almond Pink, 202 Peach Pink, 25 Pink and 27 Dk Pink).  The leaves were colored with Pale Green, May Green, Emerald Green, Green and Marine Green. I made sure to blend each shade into each other.  For the banner, I used Shadow Mauve. After I colored everything in, I die cut the image with the coordinating die.

Next I created a background wash on watercolor paper using Ken Oliver’s Turquoise Color Bursts. After I was satisfied with the intensity of my background, I splattered clean water onto the wash. I let the drops sit for about 20 seconds, then I dabbed the water with a clean paper towel which lifted the color creating amazing texture. I dried the watercolor panel with my heat gun and then added stitching to the edges of my panel using the largest die in our Double Stitched Rectangles (large) set. Then I adhered the panel onto an A2 card base using strong double sided adhesive. Next I popped up my floral image with some foam tape. Finally, I embellished the card with our Clear Dew Drops in our 7mm and 5mm sizes.

Our Wildflower Banner set is great for mass producing beautiful floral cards. During the actual design process, my goal is to create stamps that make it effortless for you to make gorgeous cards. Sometimes you don’t have a particular card in your stash that you might need to make last minute. This set (and our other cluster floral sets) is perfect in that situation since you don’t need to spend additional time masking off floral elements to create one image. All you need to do is stamp and color!

I created different versions of this card below using different mediums:

For this card, I stamped the floral image onto watercolor paper with black pigment ink and then clear heat embossed the image. Then I watercolored the florals using Peony and Wisteria Color Bursts.

For my final card I stamped the floral image on cardstock using our Caviar Hybrid Ink. Then I colored the image in with copics.
