Wishing You

Hello everyone! Mayline here today! I hope you enjoyed our 2017 Spring Release week and blog hop. Today I am sharing a shaker card using our new release stamp set Wishful Wildflowers and mixes.

Let’s take a look at how to make the card! To start off I stamped a flower and a sentiment from Wishful Wildflowers stamp set in Noir ink on 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 A2 some white cardstock. After I started work on the shaker portion. I created a frame for my shaker using a blending technique with The Ton’s Couture Color Bright Emerald Dye inks on some another white cardstock. I then used  our Double Stitched Rectangle Dies (Small) to make a window.

Next I filled it with a variety of our mixes, including Amethyst Quartz Couture Mix , Rosy Petals Couture Mix, and Spring Fawn Couture Mix

After filling up my shaker, I adhered everything together. BUT! after I adhered the window and panel I realized that I forgot to color the flower that I stamped on the panel. 😦 Sometime it happens. Hahaha 😀  So I stamped a flower image again on the other white cardstock and then I colored it using  Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker – Light Pink and Pink. And I drew a highlight effect using white jell pen. I then fussy cut the flower (You can cut the flower using our Wishful Wildflower Coordinating Dies.) and taped it down on the window.

Beautiful! Each time I see this stamp set I like it a little more. It was on my wishlist but now, after seeing your lovely clean and simple card, it’s graduated to my must have list. Love it if!
