Hi peeps. How are you doing on this beautiful Wednesday? Vera here for your mid week inspiration.
I am loving this recent new releases and for today, I can’t resist playing with the lovely Thoughtful Poppies set. Instead of just using the large image the way it is, I want to show different way you could use the image, by using it to do partial & repeat stamping.
I start with cutting a circle mask. I couldn’t find my post it note paper, so I simply used a scrap paper and adhere it to the the panel with temporary adhesive. Then I stamped the poppies starting from the top right corner. Before stamping on the next part, I also stamped the flower on a piece of scrap paper then fussy cut them to use as mask. Covering the 1st stamped image, I then go around & repeated the stamping twice more.
Once that done, colored the images with Copic. For extra detail, I thought it’d be fun to add some white dots on the leaves. Adhere the panel to colored card base. Finished with a sentiment from I Got You set and my current favorite embellishment, the mixed dew drops.
Here’s a look of the card from a different angle.
That’s all from me today peeps. I hope you enjoy today’s card. Thank you for stopping by here. Don’t forget, you still have time to enter The Ton 1st challenge HERE. You could win $50 gift card to the store. Come play along! Till next time….
