Joyful holiday

Hello everyone! It’s Mayline here today with a Christmas card.  I’m pretty sure many of you are busy to make Christmas cards. Still you are looking for Christmas card ideas today’s card will help you 🙂

Let’s take a look at my Christmas card. For this card I used a no-line watercolor technique using our Holiday Flourishes stamp set.

To start off, I stamped holly and berries from Holiday Flourishes stamp set and berries on a bush image from Fresh Cut Poinsettias (Coord. Outlines ) using Distress ink “Scattered Straw”on A2 sized watercolor panel. Next I used watercolor paint for coloring. After that, I stamped flourishes from Holiday Flourishes stamp set using  Noir Dye Ink on the panel.

Next I stamped a banner image from Thankful Cornucopia stamp set using  Noir Dye Ink on some white cardstock and I die cut the banner from Thankful Cornucopia Coordinating Dies. After that I stamped a sentiment from Christmas Poinsettia Mini stamp set with Noir Dye Ink on the banner. And I adhered gold embroidery thread on the center of panel and  I adhered the banner with foam tape over the thread. Next I used a white gel pen to dot on the berries and lastly I applied Wink of Stella  on the holly and berries to finish off the card.

I hope you like my card!  Thank you for stopping by!

Gorgeous card. Love all the different green shades. This stamp set was included in last year’s Stamp of Approval box, and you are inspiring me to have a play with these stamps and try your technique.
